These terms are a plain-language agreement between you and Electus Careers ("we", "us"). By purchasing either package, you agree to them. We wrote them to be read, so please do.
The Living Resume ($99): a custom interactive resume site in your chosen design, a web domain registered for you, a professional email address at that domain, one year of hosting and email service, and a matching PDF resume.
The Full Campaign ($249): everything above, plus researched outreach: we identify real local employers in your field and draft personal introduction letters, sent on your behalf, to up to 500 contacts.
The Whole Town ($449): everything in The Full Campaign, extended to up to 1,500 contacts, casting a wider net across neighboring areas and adjacent fields.
Accurate information. Your resume, work history, and anything you tell us must be truthful and yours to share. We build from what you give us, and you are responsible for its accuracy. We will never knowingly write a falsehood into your materials, and you agree not to ask us to.
Every campaign letter is drafted for your review before anything sends. You stay in control, and here is exactly how that control works:
Why the limit exists, honestly: rewriting all 500 letters one at a time would cost more in labor than the entire package price, and the calibration step exists precisely so it is never needed. This structure keeps the price at $249 instead of $2,490.
Approved letters are sent on your behalf, in your name, with your consent, paced politely during business hours. We do not spam: each letter is individually researched and written to a specific business. You authorize us to send approved letters as you. We cannot and do not guarantee that any recipient will reply.
Timing, and why pacing is a feature. Personal letters cannot be blasted out in an afternoon, and you would not want them to be. New mailboxes must be warmed gradually, and mail sent too fast gets treated as spam, which would burn the very name we are building for you. So we pace deliberately: typically a 500-contact campaign completes within about 30 days of your approvals, and a 1,500-contact campaign within about 60 days, and both are often faster. If a campaign runs longer than typical, it is because protecting your deliverability required a slower hand, and that trade is always made in your favor: a letter that lands in an inbox two weeks later beats five hundred that land in spam folders today.
We build remarkable materials and put them in front of real people. We do not and cannot guarantee interviews, offers, or employment. Anyone who guarantees you a job is lying to you.
Your Living Resume is typically delivered within a few business days of receiving your materials. It includes reasonable rounds of revision until it represents you well. "Reasonable" means we will work with you in good faith to get it right; it does not mean unlimited redesigns from scratch.
Choosing your domain is a conversation. We will prepare a suggested list of available domain names that fit you, you can propose your own, and together we come to an agreement on the right one. Domains may use any suitable extension (.com, .me, .pro, .net, and others); we recommend what will look best on your materials, and no specific extension is promised.
Included cost. The included registration covers a domain whose cost to us does not exceed $15. If your heart is set on a premium name above that, you can cover the difference, or, if you already own a domain, we will gladly work with you or your web designer to connect your site to it at no extra charge.
Final say. Every case that leaves our shop carries our craft, so we hold final approval on the acceptable finished build, including the domain it ships on. We will always work toward what you love, and we will not ship something that does not meet our standard or that we reasonably consider misleading, infringing, or unsuitable.
Your email address. The Living Resume includes one professional email address at your domain (for example, jane@janedoe.me), active for the same year as your hosting. We set it up fully authenticated (SPF and DKIM) so your mail arrives in inboxes, not spam folders. Use it through webmail, the mobile mail app of your choice, or connect it to the mail program you already use; standard IMAP and SMTP are supported. The address is for normal personal correspondence, not bulk mailing.
Hosting and renewal. Your domain is registered for you and it is yours. Hosting and email are included for one year from delivery. Before the year ends we will contact you about renewal of both at a modest annual rate, or we can hand the whole thing off to you or your web designer to run anywhere you like.
Payment is by Stripe checkout or Stripe invoice, due before work begins. If you cancel before we have begun work, you receive a full refund. If you cancel after work has begun but before your Living Resume is delivered, we refund half. After delivery, fees are not refundable, but the revision commitments above still fully apply.
Your story is yours. On full payment, you own your finished site content, your PDF, and your domain. We retain the right to our underlying code, tooling, and craft, and we may showcase finished work as an example only with your permission.
Your resume and details are used only to do this work. We do not sell your information. Ever. Ask us to delete your files at any time and we will.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the actions of employers or any third party.
